Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that material you posted on Selmac Magazine was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to file a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must be a written communication sent to our Designated Agent and include substantially the following:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that was removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where the material appeared before its removal or disabling.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
Your name, address, and telephone number.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Selmac Magazine may be found. You must also state that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
